This class teaches the basics of spinning with a drop spindle and includes a little history of drop spinning in the US - mostly anecdotal stories of Basque herdsmen, Navajo spinners, sleeping beauty and all kinds of odd things that can be used to still create yarn. All tools and supplies to learn are included.
Students may take home their spindle and fiber for an additional $10.
