Fleece Sale
New this year! Bring your fleeces to sell in the Fleece Sale! We will be setting aside a section in the Vendor Hall for you to sell your fleeces!
Rules:
All fleeces for sale must be clearly labeled with what it is-- breed, staple length, weight, and other pertinent information, price, and your name and phone number. This must be a number at which people can reach you during the fiber fair. We will have cards for this purpose available.
If you see something you wish to buy, it is your responsibility to call or otherwise find the person selling the fleece to complete the sale. Please be understanding if you don't reach them immediately, they may be in class. Fleece sales open at 9 AM Sunday. This is to allow time for people to peruse fleeces, Saturday, and for fleece show judging on Saturday.
All sales are to be negotiated directly between the seller and buyer. The Mid-Plains Fiber Fair does not assume any responsibility for any sales, and will not accept or pay money on your behalf. We will also not get involved in any disputes. We are not responsible for lost or stolen fleeces.
Any fleeces left behind at close of fair will become the property of Mid-Plains Fiber Fair, to be sold as a fundraiser for the next year's fiber fair. (This does not mean that everything belongs to us promptly at 5 PM Sunday, but does mean that when the public is gone and cleanup is done, we reserve the right to claim and sell abandoned items.) Please have a plan to take your unsold items home!
